Auntique & Uncle Tony |
Sellers of Antique Bookends, Vintage Glass, & Collectibles |
Located in Rocky Hill, CT, the Connecticut Foundry produced a line of sand cast metal bookends that had a distinctive style characterized by very soft details. They manufactured solely in iron. All but a few of their bookends, from the late 1920s to early 1930s were made with a simple patinated finish. Rare examples of polychrome bookends do exist. Their line of bookends went out of production sometime between the Great Depression and the beginning of World War II. Click on a photo below to view more detail about the item. |
